Congratulations to Twitter user Osbaldaywon for their winning slogan submission, "Half the Suds, Cleans your duds".
Come participate in our Save Your Soap Campaign by coming into one of our dislpay locations during October and November and picking up a free T-shirt displaying the winning logo, "Half the Suds, Cleans your duds"!

The Save Your Soap campaign has been developed for residents of the CRD to learn the benefits of using half the manufacturer's recommended amount of laundry detergent, dishwashing liquids, shampoos or even liquid hand soap. Water in the CRD is soft (nearly eight times softer than the national average), and as a result we can use at least half as much product!
When we use too much soap it can stay in our clothes, washers, dishwashers, and even dryers; and this can result in skin irritations and decreased efficiency of appliances! By using less, fewer harmful substances will go down the drain with the wash water reducing the presence of potentially toxic substances in the wastewater collection system and the marine environment.
Saving on soap saves your skin, your appliances, your environment, and it saves you money! It's a win/win where benefits come out in the wash.
